A full-bore, supercharged syrah grown on a mix of gravelly loam and limestone, this mingles flavors of ripe blueberries and red and black peppercorns. The savory elements grow more expansive with air, almost overwhelming the sweeter fruit flavors before being checked by cool juiciness. Powerful and firm, this will benefit from a few years in the cellar before decanting with grilled lamb and rosemary sausages.

Our Syrah from Ambassador's Vineyard offers toasty aromas of black fruits, violets and spice. Rich, chewy flavors of blueberry and black cherry anticipate accents of mocha and vanilla. The texture is clean and focused, finishing with juicy tannins and hints of white pepper.
