A bright and brambly red, sculpted by light tannins and offering flavors of crushed blackberry, herbed olive and tarry mineral. Well-knit and balanced, with a grippy finish. Bovale, Cannonau and Carignano. Best from 2018 through 2023.
Wine Tasting Notes
Bovale Sardo (Graciano) is an underrated grape that has been making a comeback in its native Rioja. Korem blends the low-yielding and deeply-colored Bovale Sardo for aroma and acidity, with Carignano for tannin, and Cannonau for fruit and body to achieve an elegant wine of layered complexity. Intense, concentrated ruby red in color, Korem offers a full bouquet of black fruits, cedar, black currants, leather and chocolate. Warm and full-bodied on the palate, with excellent depth of flavor and firm tannins framing a juicy and dense texture. Recommended with roasted baby pork, braised ribs and lamb.
