Product DescriptionWine Advocate Review
Both Syrah cuvees are very strong in 2011. The 2011 Syrah Saralee's Vineyard exhibits tell-tale tar, roasted meat, and bouquet garni aromas, intense, ripe blackberry fruit, hints of smoke and licorice, and a long, heady finish. Aged in French oak for 18 months, and bottled unfined and unfiltered, this luscious, sexy Syrah should provide plenty of pleasure over the next 6-7 years.
Wine Tasting Notes
The Sarealee's Vineyard Syrah is densely aromatic with notes of smoked meat, black pepper and spice. The juicy palate is filled with raspberry and ripe plum flavors. Big, round tannins and toasty oak compliment the long dark chocolate-mint finish.
