Truckloads of sugarcane sweetness generously but gently blanket the taste buds. The aftertaste is medium-long, luscious and full of caramel. While not quite in the stratospheric realm of superstars like Clement from Martinique and Barbancourt from Haiti, this is a beautifully crafted Bacardi all the same.(Wine Enthusiast)
80 Proof Rum

I have no idea who is rating this as a 90-95 rum, but my bottle tastes terrible. Almost as if it has some sort of contaminant. An unpleasant front end, a decent taste while in the mouth, but the finish is just foul. I guess I will use this to cook with... or maybe I can cover the flavor with mixers.
