Deep ruby. Highly pungent, sexy bouquet of raspberry, cherry, smoked meat, iron and violet: this is really syrah. Spicy, sweet flavors of dark berries and minerals are nicely framed by silky tannins. Gains energy on the finish, which repeats the sweet berry qualities and leaves a brisk trail of minerals behind. This is already delicious.

Wine Tasting Notes
Aromas of mocha are integrated with blackberry and savory Hunter Valley Shiraz fruit. A very good alcohol weight carries the rich flavors. The palate has vanillin and dark cherry flavors. Soft tannins and a dry finish round it out. The oak is forward at this stage but there is more than enough fruit to match it.
