This wins at the superrich Shiraz game by marrying intensity with a cooler fruit tone. The aromas combine blueberry with forest-floor earthiness, eucalyptus and smoke. The velvety texture shows fine oak integration, while the freshness seems to derive right from the tannin, firm and tough. Great with thick-cut lamb chops.

A vibrant deep purple in color with intense aromas of blackcurrant, violets, dark berries with a hint of chocolate and coffee. The full-bodied palate is rich, concentrated and well-balanced. A backbone of sweet oak and long velvety tannins completes the structure and the wine finishes with a silky mouth-feel and excellent length.
