Wine Tasting Notes
With a generous splash of Syrah, Dulcet is a New World interpretation of a Cabernet Sauvignon blend. The Syrah adds an unexpected spiciness and juicy, ripe fruit expression - just enough to "pop" the fruit character out of the glass. The rich blackberry and black cherry aromas and flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon predominate, while the Syrah contributes blueberry and hints of black pepper. Charming in its youth, this wine will continue to develop complexity with proper bottle aging. Enjoy the spicy, dark-fruit character and velvety tannin structure of Dulcet with grilled meats, especially ones marinated or rubbed with harmonizing spices, and ratatouille or grilled vegetables.
