Wine Spectator Review
This starts with an amazing aroma of baked fig and pepper, that is followed by layers of robust blackberry, cassis, blueberry and French roast flavors. Exuberant, yet balanced, with a long, delicious finish of cream and spice. Best from 2006 through 2012.

Wine Tasting Notes
Quinta da Leda 2001 is deep red in color. Its bouquet is very intense and complex with notes of well ripe black fruit (mulberry and black plum), complemented by slight touches of resin, balsam and spice-like aromas. All these aromas are well balanced with those from the wood (vanilla, spices and dry fruits) of the maturation barrels, providing the wine with harmony and elegance. On the palate, its powerful structure, discreet acidity and velvety tannins give it a long, delicate and lingering finish, suggesting its great longevity potential.
