this Winegrower Selection Zinfandel from Alvin and Sally Tollinis Wild Vine Vineyard shows brambly blackberry, mulberry, cassis and raspberry flavors and aromas that are rounded out by hints of dried rose petals, fig, cocoa and toasted oak. This old vine blend of 95% Zinfandel and 5% Petite Sirah has the size to pair up with rich dishes like lamb, barbecue or salmon, and will drink best from 2008 through 2012.
