This is the third release of The Velvet Collection series and comes from the 2004 vintage. It is a proprietary blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot from the Napa Valley. The rich red color, aromas of mature black fruits and exotic spices of anise, vanilla, and clove are intriguing. This wine displays the firmness of Cabernet and is enhanced by a very luscious Merlot. This is a wine with an outstanding pedigree and it can be expected to evolve beautifully over the years.
