Wine Enthusiast Review
Don't dilute this light, gentle Scotch too much. Enjoy the honeyed, fresh tropical fruit aromas and mouthwatering vanilla and almond flavors with a hint of smoke and spice on the finish. Light body. Good value.
Deep gold, with intense late afternoon summer sunshine shades. Creamy and rich. Resinous fragrances swirl up before melting into a citrus fruit salad bowl. Orange peel and candied grapefruit aromas. Then, the bouquet opens on buttery notes. Shortbread, almond brandy snaps, vanilla toffee, fudge sauce. A dry spicy echo with a touch of liquorice resonates in the back. Round, sweet, incredibly smooth and velvety. Wood is entirely integrated but present all the way, sweetly enveloping fruity and nutty flavors in an oaky shell. Luscious chocolate fudge lingers on. Lingering with traces of toasted hazelnuts and lightly smoked almonds.
80 Proof Single Malt Scotch

I'm a huge scrub when it comes to scotch, so by no means is my review something to take with much credibility. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed every second I spent with this fine specimen. More seasoned scotch drinkers seem to be able to detect every bit of everything used in making it; I mostly tasted a nice mild citrusy/appley sweetness followed by an oaky finish. Occasionally I'd get a whiff of some sort of sweet (either caramel or chocolate I never could tell). All in all it was well worth the price, and I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Glenlivet 15 year old is the best single malt scotch I have ever tasted. I have tried many other brands and nothing can compare to the smooth taste. I prefer this even over the 18 or 21 year old. Additionally, the price from Liquorama is the best in the USA. even though the shipment comes from California and I live in New Jersey! Neat or on ice with a lemon twist......heaven!
