Gold with a orange tint. Sweet caramel and vanilla bean aromas. A round, silky entry leads to a dry-yet-fruity, medium-to full-bodied palate with caramel, brown spice, and tropical fruit flavors. Finishes very smoothly with herbal agave and a long-lasting fade of fruit and oak. An exceptionally balanced anejo.

I would likely never have ordered this tequila but for the fact I ordered a drink at a local steakhouse made with this brand. I would reserve a rating of 5 for a great sipping tequila and a 4 for a higher end tequila suitable for good mixed drinks. $30 is the right price.
I've had better, but not for $30 a bottle

If you enjoy to REALLY taste the peppery cactus taste of tequila, then this is your jam. I wouldn't call it subtle, but it is smooth and sip-able. So far, I really enjoy it. At $30 (current sale price) this is a great deal, however, I would pass on it at $60.
