La Paz Gold Agave Wine is made from Agave plants in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. It is cooked down and fermented, making it possible for beer & wine license establishments to serve a smooth, great tasting margarita.

I've tasted both La Paz and EL GUITARRON from Premium Blend (http://www.premiumblend.com/index.php/products/liquor-substitutes/el-guitarron-agave-wine) and El Guitarron, which is made in Jalisco from the Blue Agave plant is by far a better product in all respects.

We use this product in our Mexican restaurant, and get very good comments from our customers!

La Paz is an agave wine. Yes, not a tequila but a lower alcohol alternative. Ever so slightly on the sweet side but never cloying. It is not only a cool sip on a hot night but it is a great alternative to tequila for a tastey 'low power' margarita.
Wish it was offered in Colorado but thank goodness for Liquorama shipping!
