Product DescriptionJames Suckling Review
Aromas that suggest licorice and eucalyptus. Fresh and full-bodied with beautiful tension and balance between the fruit, tannins and the acidity. Tightly knit. Better in 2018.
VinoUS Media Review
Mocha, black cherry jam and spice meld together in the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon. This is one of the more open-knit, voluptuous wine of the year. As such, the 2013 will drink well pretty much upon release. Readers looking for immediate gratification will find plenty of that here. (Antonio Galloni)
Wine Tasting Notes
The wine is sourced from five small, family-owned vineyards located on Diamond Mountain, Yountville, and Coombsville. Spicy aromatics of licorice and mocha lead to a rich palate of cassis and black cherry flavors. The wine has a lively acidity that will support the flavors for years of exceptional enjoyment. However you won't have to wait as it is already eminently enjoyable.
