James Suckling Review
This is a bold and spicy red with dried chili flakes and dark fruits. Full body, juicy and rich. Oyster shell and limestone character. Chalk. Intense wine. Drink or hold.
VinoUS Media Review
The 2015 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard is a wine of real character and personality. The flavors are bold and racy. Deceptively medium in body, the 2015 packs a serious punch. Hints of sage, wild flowers and mint add nuance. (Antonio Galloni)
Wine Advocate Review
Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard has a fun cherry cola and watermelon nose with some peppered meat and raspberry tart nuances, plus a touch of Provence herbs. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has nice weight and depth of red berry and spice flavors supported by rounded tannins and just enough freshness, finishing peppery. Drink 2017-2022.
Wine Tasting Notes
The Fiddlestix Vineyard Pinot Noir shows the elegant side of this vineyard with its structure, restraint and finesse. Simultaneously deep and penetrating flavors of Bing cherry, pomegranate and raspberry give into savory notes of earth and spice. The wine is fresh and lively on the palate, offering bright acidity and youthful tannins that linger through the lasting finish.
