James Suckling Review
This is fragrant and floral with dark berries on the nose. Medium body, firm and silky tannins and a fresh, clean finish. A driven and linear Chianti Classico. The backbone of fresh acidity gives this focus. Drink now or hold.
VinoUS Media Review
Stunning and beautifully expansive, the 2016 Chianti Classico Berardenga is a wine to buy by the case and savor over the next 20 or so years. All the natural richness of the 2016 vintage comes through in a creamy, voluptuous Chianti Classico that hits all the right notes. This is quite frankly a remarkable level of quality for Felsina's entry-level offering. (by Antonio Galloni)
Wine Advocate Review
The 2016 Chianti Classico Berardenga is a tight and elegant wine with bright berry notes followed by mineral tones of clay and chalky soil. You really taste those Castelnuovo Berardenga signatures here on the bouquet. The finish carries forward with grace, elegance and determination.
Wine Tasting Notes
Deep, attractive ruby red color. Elegantly fruity nose, with marked scents of wild red berries foregrounding nuances of mixed spices. The palate, too, shows excellent fruit supported by judicious tannins. Lengthy finish.
