Product DescriptionDecanter Magazine Review
Signorello makes ripe, sumptuous wines, starting with this estate Cabernet sourced from younger vines and aged in 85% new French oak. Perfumes of cherry and cassis emerge from the glass and flow onto the rich palate. These evolve and adapt into bright black fruit flavors that are heavily concentrated and give it a generous finish.
VinoUS Media Review
Signorello's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate has really clamped down since I tasted it last year. Pomegranate, blood orange, creme de cassis, red cherry jam, lavender, rose petal and mint give the wine much of its distinct, exotic personality. The firm tannins need time to soften, but this is an impressive effort, that is for sure. The aromatic and flavor intensity here is superb. (Stephen Tanzer)
Wine Advocate Review
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Franc aged 21 months in 85% new French oak and bottled unfiltered) is just beginning to close down like some of the 2013s. Dense ruby/purple, notes of blueberry, creme de cassis, a touch of camphor and vanilla, the wine is structured, full-bodied, deep and meant for long aging. Forget this for 3-4 years and drink it over the following 25-30 years.
Wine Tasting Notes
Inky purple-colored, with notes of charcoal, graphite, blackcurrants and blueberries, the wine is dense, opulent, full-bodied, fresh and full. It will drink well for up to 20 more years.
